By downloading or using MailShield Guardian, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Informational Use Only

MailShield Guardian uses artificial intelligence to analyze content for potential fraud indicators. ALL results are provided for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY and do not constitute legal, financial, security, or professional advice. You must independently verify any information before acting on it.

2. No Guarantee of Accuracy

MailShield Guardian makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of scan results. A result labeled Safe or Low Risk does not guarantee that a communication is legitimate. A result labeled High Risk or Suspicious does not guarantee that a communication is fraudulent. You assume full responsibility for all decisions made based on app results.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

4. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MAILSHIELD GUARDIAN AND ITS OWNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR RELIANCE ON ANY SCAN RESULTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FINANCIAL LOSSES, IDENTITY THEFT, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. YOUR SOLE REMEDY FOR DISSATISFACTION IS TO STOP USING THE APP.

5. Use of Service

You must be 13 years or older to use this service. You agree not to misuse the service or attempt to reverse-engineer the fraud detection systems.

6. Subscriptions

Free accounts include 10 scans per month. Pro Individual ($4.99/month) and Pro Family ($9.99/month) subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

7. Email Integration

Connecting Gmail or Outlook grants read-only access to scan for fraud. We do not read, store, or transmit email content beyond what is necessary to generate a risk verdict. You may revoke access at any time.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be presented for re-acceptance within the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
