C-Suite Buys

Form 4 + 13D, plain English

When CEOs, CFOs, and other C-suite executives put real money into their own companies — or quietly head for the exit — it shows up in SEC filings within days. C-Suite Buys watches every Form 4 and Schedule 13D in real time, scores the clusters 0–10, and pushes only the signals worth your attention.

What's tracked

Three feeds. One picture.

C-Suite Buys

Open-market purchases by CEO, CFO, COO, CTO, President, EVP and other C-level officers. We filter out option grants and the noisy 10b5-1 plan trades so you only see discretionary buys.

Insiders Exiting

Cluster sells by the same C-suite officers, scored with a sell-tuned model. Selling near 52-week highs or 30 days before earnings carries the heaviest weight. Pre-scheduled plan sales are penalized.

Activist 13D Tracker

When an investor crosses 5% ownership in a public company they must file Schedule 13D. We parse every filing, summarize the stated intent via AI, and tag it as activist, merger, or passive.

How signals are scored

0–10 conviction. No black boxes.

Every cluster gets a conviction score based on dollar amount, percent of position changed, cluster size (multiple insiders aligning), seniority of the buyer or seller, price position vs the 52-week range, proximity to earnings, and a penalty for pre-scheduled 10b5-1 plan trades. Tap any signal to see the full breakdown — we show you exactly why it fired.

Why insider activity matters

The one signal where motives align.

Executives sell stock for hundreds of reasons — taxes, diversification, scheduled plans, kids' tuition. They almost always buy for one reason: they think the stock is going up. On the sell side, the signal lives in the cluster: when several insiders unload near a 52-week high right before earnings, the motive thesis tightens. C-Suite Buys surfaces both.

Not investment advice

A research tool, not a recommendation.

C-Suite Buys shows you publicly filed SEC data, organized so you can spot insider activity quickly. It does not recommend trades, forecast prices, or constitute investment advice. Insiders trade for many reasons — diversification, taxes, scheduled plans, liquidity. Do your own research and consult a licensed advisor before making any investment decision.

Privacy by design

C-Suite Buys never knows who you are.

Anonymous sign-in. No email, no password. We don't know your trading positions, your account size, or what you do with the data. Your watchlist and follow history sync via an anonymous account ID so they survive a reinstall — but we have no way to tie them to you as a person.
