MailShield Guardian — Terms of Service
By installing or using MailShield Guardian you agree to these terms.
The app
MailShield Guardian analyzes suspicious mail, texts, emails, and phone numbers using AI and a community scam database. Verdicts are advisory only. They help you spot likely scams, but no AI is perfect — use your own judgment, and never share sensitive information based solely on our verdict.
What you can do
- Use MailShield for personal, non-commercial purposes
- Submit suspected scams to help the community
- Cancel your subscription via App Store or Play Store
What you may not do
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code
- Submit fraudulent reports to poison the community database
- Use the app to harass or report content from people you simply disagree with
- Scrape or republish the scam fingerprint database
The fingerprint engine collective
MailShield's verdicts are powered by a proprietary anonymous scam fingerprint database built from every user's submissions. When you scan a suspected scam, the de-identified fingerprint — the signature pattern, not the raw content or anything personal to you — joins this shared collective.
You grant Glippin Toys, LLC a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and incorporate that de-identified fingerprint into the shared collective and any AI models trained on it. You retain ownership of your original scan — what we license is only the anonymized fingerprint derived from it.
If you delete your account, your scan history is removed, but past anonymized fingerprints in the collective remain — they were de-identified at the moment of contribution and are not linkable to you.
Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions auto-renew through the App Store or Play Store unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS." MailShield IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES FROM ACTING (OR NOT ACTING) ON A SCAM VERDICT. Scammers evolve constantly; the app may miss new patterns. If in doubt, do not engage with the suspicious content and verify through official channels.
